Located at QUT's Gardens Point campus, Old Government House was the home of Queensland's governors between 1862 and 1910 and remains one of Queensland's most important heritage buildings.
After undergoing a major restoration, in 2009 the House re-opened to the public as an historic house museum and gallery housing the works of renowned Australian artist William Robinson.
An extensive education program, including guided tours, podcasts and interpretive displays, offers fascinating insights into the House and its role in the early history of Brisbane and Queensland. This elegant venue is also available to hire for private functions.
