The William Robinson Gallery and our sister gallery, QUT Art Museum, are two of Queensland's premier visual art institutions, situated in one of the CBD's premium locations on the Brisbane river.
Nestled in the beautiful setting of Old Government House on QUT's Gardens Point campus, the William Robinson Gallery honours the life and work of this distinguished contemporary Australian artist and QUT alumnus. The Gallery presents annual exhibitions, produces publications and films, offers group tours and workshops, and conducts research on the artist’s practice.
QUT Art Museum offers a diverse suite of in-house curated exhibitions drawn from the QUT Art Collection as well as commissioned art projects, and touring exhibitions.
Placed at the heart of our city and university, we have the gifts of thought leadership, academic excellence and innovation at our fingertips, allowing us to keep our exhibitions and programs innovative and inspiring. We seek not only to contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Brisbane and Queensland at large, but also to the nation's cultural capital. Our gallery environments are inclusive, friendly and unintimidating so that everyone in our community has the opportunity to participate in exhibitions and programs that expand inquisitive minds through an experiential learning environment.
William Robinson Gallery and QUT Art Museum are proudly supported by Philip Bacon Galleries and University Art Museums Australia.
